About the event
a Peace of Bread workshops offer a chance for you to gather with a small group of people interested in the culture around baking in an Horno in Taos.
Each guest will participate in:
-- Personal instruction about baking one’s own loaves the traditional, Pueblo style.
-- Informal lectures on the history and culture of the Horno in Taos Pueblo over locally harvested and home cooked dinner, and breakfast the next morning.
-- An intimate tour of Taos Pueblo
Tickets for Friday evening and Saturday morning are $200 and include two sumptuous meals, all lectures, supplies, your own freshly baked goods and a tour of Taos Pueblo.
