A delicate balance of clay and space mark this grand bowl titled "The Well" by Taos Pueblo Sculptor Bernadette Track.
Hand-coiled in the traditional style of the Native Southwest, Ms. Track decorated the vast bowl inside and out with shiny specks of glittering mica and the blackened remains of horse hair.
The slight assymetry adds a dynamic originality to the piece and shows the unique flair of the designer.
